Jules Cesar, Act III scene 3 (Shakespeare)
Commentaire de document - Anglais - 8 pages - Format Microsoft Word
This passage is taken from Act III scene 3 of the play entitled The Tragedy of Julius Caesar, written by William Shakespeare in 1599 and published in the First Folio of 1623.
This scene is based on a riot involving second-hand characters. However, it illustrates one of the major features of the play, that is to say, conflict, violence and irrationality. Indeed, the murder of the wrong man committed by the Plebeians parallels the conspirator’s more metaphoric murder of Caesar. This issue is a very interesting aspect of this passage and needs to be detailed.
