A litterature review on "Non Union Employee Representation forms".
This paper will attempt to examine non-union employee representation (NER) structures in the UK. The recent initiatives from the European Commission indeed leads us to bend on this subject : on March 11, 2002 a directive for informing and consulting employees in the European Community was adopted. It concerns businesses with at least 50 employees or establishments with at least 20 employees in Member States and will require them to inform and consult their employees in due time about issues like employment contracts, work organisation, job security, firm performance and strategic planning.
