Commentary upon Chamberlain's foreign policy in the early 1930's.

After reading the three texts that follow, all written in early 1938 by Neville Chamberlain, you will try, after introducing them, to define and comment on the criteria which Chamberlain was then going by to decide on a sustainable foreign policy for Great Britain. By way of conclusion, you will ask yourselves whether the analysis of these documents can, to some extent at least, explain Chamberlain’s policy after March 1938.
