The place of women in politic

The cross-national work will focus first on empirical and historical facts in showing the gap in women political existence between France and the Nordic countries (1). Then, I will try to sort out potential explanations for these disparities that go beyond economic factors (2). Finally, it appears relevant to introduce a perspective on the subject by making a discussion on the role of Europeanization, to see if the EU has an impact on this problem. (3)
